Earthling Ed is coming to Leeds!

Vegan activist and online influencer “Earthling Ed” is set to visit Leeds University next week.

The Youtube content creator is currently on tour around the UK with The Big Vegan Activism Van, visiting university campuses in order to offer education and insight into the animal farming industry, as part of the SURGE activism campaign.

SURGE is an animal rights organisation, aiming to spread awareness and educate against animal exploitation.

Ed, with over 67K subscribers on Youtube, has been vegan for almost four years and has since spent his life offering information about the movement to the public.

With videos showcasing his street activism, campus tours, Q&A’s and more, Ed has become one of the leading online influencers and educators of the vegan lifestyle and animal activism.

The tour currently consists of a full day of on-campus outreach, followed by an evening screening of documentary Land of Hope and Glory and a speech by Surge co-founder Ed Winters (Earthling Ed).

“During the day he is speaking to students on campus and then we’re opening up the film screening and talk in the evening to everyone. The Surge Team want to encourage as many omnivores as possible to attend this part.” – Jen Rodley, one of the event hosts, told us.

The event will be held at the University of Leeds Business School (Clarendon Road) on Wednesday 14 March from 6:30PM. You can find more info or join the event on the Facebook page here.
